PeduliMahasiswa – Donation Website for Student Tuition Support
During the COVID-19 pandemic, many parents of university students lost their jobs, which made it difficult for students to pay their tuition fees (UKT) at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI). The goal of this project was to build a functional donation platform that enables donors to provide financial assistance directly to students in need.

How the work unfolded
The project was developed using WordPress as the main platform, with WooCommerce customized to support the donation flow instead of a typical e-commerce purchase. To ensure secure and seamless transactions, a payment gateway integration was implemented, making it easy for donors to contribute using various payment methods.
The development process included:
- Identifying the specific donation flow requirements during the pandemic.
- Customizing WooCommerce to fit the donation system.
- Integrating and testing the payment gateway for real transactions.
- Ensuring the website was functional, user-friendly, and responsive.
As a result, the website became a ready-to-use donation platform to support students struggling with tuition fees during the pandemic.
